(I just got word today that my Book Officially has a TITLE! "Altered Curiosities" Hurray! This is not the cover- they are getting ready to shoot the cover shot next week! As soon as I have the cover shot I will share it with you... In the mean time, this is just one of my curious oddities... for some visual candy - on a rainy Friday...)

Congratulations Jane! This is great news and I am *SO* pleased for you. You do beautiful and unque work and it's so nice to know you will get some wonderful recognition through your book. Well deserved to be sure!

I hope that I can inspire others to make time to make things.

I am thrilled about the title- it was going to be something else that I did not think did the book justice!

Not only will this book will include a instructions for creating your very own odd things, but I tell the stories behind all the work along with some of the drawings which the pieces are based on. It is so more than just a how to type of book I think...

Yes- It should be in store for September 2007. However with per-orders etc... I think it could be available as early as July 2007??? I will get the details. (Haaa Don't Quote me...Hahaaa!)

Now I need to just finish up some of the writing this weekend! La La La!

that's great, jane. one step closer to it becoming a reality. a lovely title. i look forward to seeing their cover treatment. michael's was quite fabulous. i had thought your book would be coming out late spring. fall is such a long time to wait! (and i adore that piece in the photo for various reasons)
